A video posted on the web by crediar - who we could probably assume is the same developer working on WiiMU - shows a Wii System Menu hack that boasts of several intriguing features I'd love to see available soon, such as region-free Wii Games and channels. Heads up, Wii owners. We've just learned that someone by the name of Nekokabu appears to have released a Dual Layer Wii disc ripper. As the name of the application would indicate, this program appears to allow users to backup dual-layered Wii discs.

AcidMods member kypes uploaded a YouTube video clip showing off his modded Nintendo Wii console dubbed as Codename: UV Hack. Modder kypes also mentioned that although it took him quite long to finish Codename: UV Hack, it was all worth it in the end. The video clip shows the other features of this specific console not outlined by kypes.
