John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John are coming to the Nintendo consoles! Or at least their Grease characters Danny Zucko and Sandy Olsson are. 505 Games has announced that it is now the rightful owner of the publishing rights for a video game adaptation of the classic musical, "Grease".

The Super Monkey is not done conquering gaming platforms, after it launched itself into the N-Gage and iPhone market streams. A page at the US Patent & Trademark Office reveals that another Super Monkey Ball title is set to come to the Wii, named as "Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll".

Developed by Eli Sherer, the Wii homebrew app Balance Board Tools lets you use the Wii Balance Board to check your weight without having to boot up WiiFit all the time and going through the body test. Cool. It also lets you determine where your center of gravity is just by standing on the board.

Nintendo Italy has revealed their upcoming WIi game Punch Out!! will be featuring the Balance Board support. Seeing as how Punch Out!!! is an arcade boxing title originally from the NES and SNES, having this new peripheral should be interesting, to say the least. Details and screenshots after the jump.

Introducing, the NASCAR Kart Racing for the Wii. Yep, that's right, yet another licensed sports title comes to your Wii, thanks to Electronic Arts. It looks like it's gonna be very enjoyable for the kids, and those kids-at-heart who'd want to see NASCAR in a different, more colorful light.

The holidays are coming, and we all know what comes after the festivities: shedding off the pounds. Good thing we've got a good number of fitness games lined  up for the Wii now. But even better than that, we've got more coming. This time, Electronic Arts joins in on the fitness range games cash cow with their own take on Wii Fit, the EA Sports Active. The NPD Group has released a compiled list of the top five best-selling games for each of the consoles. The report tracks sales data from the start of this year all the way up until August. Wondering which games made it to the lists? I'm sure some of you won't be surprised to see this or that title part of the list. Lots of acronym-friendly games chucked in, of course!

If you're the type who loves browsing through your hometown on Google Street View, then you'll definitely get a kick out of this interesting new mod which incorporates a Wii Balance Board peripheral. A blogger on blog.katsuma.tv was able to hot-wire the Google Earth feature onto a PC, allowing a user to literally walk through the streets of the city being viewed using the Balance Board. Looks like the rumor mill has churned out something accurate this time. Despite Nintendo's statements that the October 16 release date for Wii Music is just pure rumor and speculation, Famitsu today confirmed that the rumored release date for the Wii music game is spot on.
