Who would've thunk that for such a happy, wholesome console like
Nintendo's Wii there'd be this much drama to eclipse that of Microsoft
and Sony's feud? But seriously guys, followers of the Wii homebrew
scene would find this as no laughing matter. Marcan, Team Twiizer
(creators of the famed Twilight Hack) member, is leaving the scene.
He's not coming back and he means it. |

With the GDC riding off into the sunset, the gaming scene is left with
a seriously hyped-up trail filled with bits of info on this year's
hottest titles. Couple that with the new info that Famitsu's so darn
good at getting, and you have a very noisy news week to recap. For
starters, Square Enix revealed more info for their much-awaited games,
plus the Wii homebrew devs seemed to have really hit their stride,
releasing their heavy artillery for the scene. For this edition of the
Nintendo Weekend Warrior for the DS and Wii, there's gonna be some
rumor-busting, some Squeenix quizzing, and Wii brewing! |

It's the weekend so it's time to take a look back through the week and see what Nintendo has been up to. And to be quite frank, news has been pretty quiet at the Wii and DS blogs. Let's keep it nice and easy this week and let's talk about all them nostalgic games coming and the piracy that's really getting to Nintendo.Originally posted on Feb 28, 2009 at 07:39PM |
