Benyboybob (aka Ben Lloyd) has released the Wii ISO Patcher, a simple GUI he made for waninkoko's classic IOS Version Patcher. Instead of dealing with command lines, you now simply have to browse for your ISO. As the author said, it's nothing ground-breaking, but it will make your life a little easier. More after the link.

Wiibrew developer WiiGator has released Backup Launcher v0.1, a perfect marriage of two great programs: Nuke's GeckoOS, and a backup ISO launcher using some of waninkoko's released source code. More details after the link.

Well, it's no wonder Team Twiizers is so secretive with their codes. Wiibrew dev waninkoko explains that his reasons for initially dropping his ISO loader project wasn't because of the leak, but because of "all the people downloading it, sharing it, making tutorials, and such."

Those of you who were excited about the Wii Loader project that Waninkoko was working on will be greatly disappointed. A recent announcement posted on the developer's site stated that the homebrew application has officially been abandoned. Over the past few months, homebrew development on the Nintendo Wii has literally made some leaps and bounds. Developer Waninkoko once again astounds the homebrew community with the latest work in progress to help turn the console into a virtual hacker's paradise. There's a clone for Waninkoko's cIOS, and it's called the cIOS Patchmii Installer. It's now up to rev04, and it's got some changes you might want to see.

Although waninkoko's cIOS custom firmware installer is a popular program, some circles in the Wiibrew community prefer not to use it. As an alternative, Wiibrew dev tona has provided cIOS PatchMii Installer, an alternative program that doesn't require you to have the specific IOS WAD to install, but instead patches the existing one. Cooling off from updating his Custom Firmware software for a while, Wiibrew developer waninkoko has released a new application. Called Channel Loader, it lets you launch any channel of any region installed on your Wii console. More details in the full article.

Waninkoko has rolled out another update to his custom firmware installer for the Wii, Custom IOS. A couple of functions have been dropped in the code, but the major change is the switch of the IOS base, which is now 36 instead of 37. More details in the full article.

Homebrew developer Waninkoko recently updated the Wii homebrew app WAD Manager, bumping up its version number to 1.21. As the name of the application implies, it basically allows users to manage their Virtual Console and WiiWare game data files on an attached USB device.
