Logo of Nintendo Wii console - Image 1From Japan to North America to the far off shores of Europe, Konami and Hudson Entertainment are completing the global tour of two of their well-celebrated titles for the Nintendo Wii: Fishing Master (aka Tsuri Master) and Sports Island (aka Deca Sporta).

Both titles make extensive use of the Wiimote's motion sensing features to simulate their respective modes of play. Check out more in the full article after the jump!

Deca Sporta screenshots: basketball, volleyball, soccer - Image 1If you had a fun with Wii Sports and Wii Play and want some more video games similar to those, then you might want to check out Deca Sporta. This title is being developed by Hudson Soft and will be available in Japan later this year.

There is still no word, unfortunately, if it will come to other markets. Anyway, Deca Sporta is quite different from the above mentioned video game titles. How? While all of them feature different sports, the one from Hudson Soft offers team play games like basketball, volleyball, and even soccer.

The screenshots that you can see herein will give you an idea about the title's graphics. Aside from the already mentioned, Deca Sporta is also home to other individual sports like archery and racing. As always, updates as we get them and enjoy the screenshots!

Deca Sporta official website finally up - Image 1

Following in the successful footsteps of Wii Play and Wii Sports, Hudson Soft-developed Deca Sporta is ready to show the world what it can do with a Wiimote as it opens its website with some pretty good looking screenshots of the game.

The site features the different types of sports games Deca Sporta has to offer. Diverging a bit from its Wii-titled counterparts, Deca Sporta seems to offer wider range of sports to choose from. These include team play games such as basketball, beach volleyball, and soccer.

Competitive head-to-head games like badminton, cart racing, and super cross bike racing are also being offered. It will definitely be interesting to try out the archery competition using the unique controls the Wii has to offer.

While the graphics still seem a bit basic, if a little improved, the charm of the game makes it just as addicting to play as Wii Sports or Wii Play. So until a commercial release for the game arrives, let's keep ourselves in shape so we don't sprain ourselves playing this game.

If you want to know more about the title, click on our Read link below. It should take you to Deca Sporta's official website.

VC Europe update: Breath of Fire II, Galaga '90, Volleyball - Image 1European Wii owners rejoice! Three gaming classics, each hailing from a legendary console in its own right, are headed right for you in this week's Virtual Console update for all PAL Wii owners.

First up, we have the classic RPG title Breath of Fire II. Contained herein are all of the elements necessary for an epic story of light versus dark, good versus evil, with the bonds of friendship and steadfast courage conquering all in the face of fear.

You've got battles, betrayals, friends, enemies, allies - and of course, the dragons you'll have to defeat along the way. Stepping into Ryu's boots to undertake his epic journey of self-discovery will set a Wiimote-swinging adventurer back 800 Wii points.

Next is the all-time favorite alien-shooter, Galaga '90. Blast through dimensions, wormholes and interplanetary orbits to quash the multicolored alien menace who, after a couple of rounds, will unleash a cute-yet-demoralizing Galaga Dance to try and throw you off your game.

All but the most hardcore of pilots fall prey to this underhanded tactic, but the galaxy needs you to pull through and save it! Eradicate, obliterate, destroy! Blasting off into Galaga country to shoot yourself some galagas will cost you the mere pittance of 600 Wii points.

Finally, for those of us who want a more down-to-earth game experience yet with all of the intensity, here's Volleyball to get your serve on. Featuring eight male or female teams to choose from, players will first partake in practice rounds before taking the fight to the international courts.

The world is watching, will you serve your opponent's defeat on a silver platter or get served yourself? Use whatever you can - lobs, smashes, spikes and dives - and come out on top! Armchair smashers can get the ball rolling with a simple fee of 500 Wii points.

Very good games, at very good prices. Updates as we get them!
