A five-song AFI track pack is coming to Rock Band 's in-game music store next week along with one from '80s all-female band The Bangles. Handheld rockers are also getting two new tracks; one each from Dead Kennedys and Sleater-Kinney.

The 27th annual Golden Joysticks Awards were announced in London earlier today, giving props to the games that shaped the industry in the past year. True to word, Europe is indeed gearing up for the arrival of the new black Wii console. Online retailer Amazon UK has put up their page for the new Wii color alternative, all wrapped tight in a bundle.

Those in Europe who still don't have a Wii might be interested in this one. Nintendo will be releasing a limited edition all-black Wii system bundled with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Yes, it'll include a black Wii, the recently-announced black Wiimote and Nunchuck, a black MotionPlus, and even a black Classic Controller Pro.

Europe, get ready to rock! MTV Games and Electronic Arts have announced that the acclaimed music videogame, Rock Band 2, will be coming to the Wii into the Euro territory starting October!

After weeks of denying rumors and trying to keep up with the console pricing, Nintendo finally confirms the Wii price cut, though unfortunately the UK isn't getting one. Still, in the words of that counselor from The New Guy, "I'm sorry to tell you that denial is not just a river in Egypt." A bit of good new and bad news. Europe's not getting left out of the Wii price cuts Nintendo announced for North America and Japan. The bad news is it doesn't include the UK. Don't blame Nintendo, though.

Even with mounting pressures and the price cut spotted at Toys R Us, Nintendo is still not giving in and makes a stand. CVG got word from a spokesperson, and to no surprise at all, Nintendo brushes the rumors off, saying that they have no price cut plans.
