Canadian voice actor Michael Rudder was among the many who were injured during the attacks in Mumbai. The NPD Group has released a compiled list of the top five best-selling games for each of the consoles. The report tracks sales data from the start of this year all the way up until August. Last week we saw Nintendo lead the pack for the second week in a row as Mario Kart Wii dominated the software charts in Japan. This week tells a very similar story as the wacky go kart racing title racked in an additional 152,000 copies and took the top spot in the Media Create software chart list once again. March was a good month for video games (although any month is a good month for video games, really). One analyst, namely Colin Sebastian, says that because of strong titles released last month, video game software sales are expected to rise by about 35%. Ubisoft recently acquired full rights to the Tom Clancy name on a perpetual basis, relieving them of all future obligations to pay royalties for the franchise.
