Nintendo at E3 2009 - Image 1Oohhh-kay. That went relatively well, wouldn't you say? Nintendo's E3 2009 presentation wasn't just all about smiles this time around. They did try to be harder-hitting, and we gotta give them props for that. Overall, it was... alright. About one or two items only that got us kinda raising our voices a decibel higher in excitement.

EA Sports - Image 1Nintendo's really trying to get some motion going for Wii MotionPlus. Electronic Arts has now formally announced that they're pushing through with the collaboration, bundling two of their upcoming titles with the new motion-sensing controller. Soon, you could be playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis with the latest in Ninty's motion-sensing technology.

Wii MotionPlus - Image 1Over the years, there have been some criticism about the Wiimote's sensitivity, more specifically the lack of it. Nintendo's new Wii MotionPlus peripheral seeks to remedy that, but according to Electronic Arts, it could also swing the criticisms to the other extreme if developers aren't careful.

Lego Batman - Image 1In its second week running, FIFA 09 still manages to keep its score. Electronic Arts' football game retains the top spot in Chart Track UK's weekly sales ranking for software. Last week's seconder, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, looses its grip and slides down to fourth place, thus giving rise to the caped crusader. Lego Batman: The Video Game debuts this week in second place.
