The last time we talked about the point and click whodunit, Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None, was when a Wii version was announced. Well, we're got an eye candy update for the couch detectives out there via some screenshots. For those who aren't familiar with the title, here's a briefer. Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None was originally released for the PC and it's getting ported to the Nintendo Wii. Detective story buffs will tell you that the video game is based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name, though you will play as Patrick Narracott, who wasn't originally in the novel. Anyway, check out the screenshots. Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None from The Adventure Company will be coming to the shelves in sometime next month so what out for more news. |

Worldwide PC games publisher The Adventure Company is happy to announce that much loved PC game Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None's Nintendo Wii version is currently under development. The Wii version of the game will be released sometime in November 2007.
Agatha Christie was a crime fiction writer heralded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the second best selling writer of all time next to William Shakespeare. "And Then There Were None" is actually Christie's best selling novel which was originally published in 1939. Some recognize it under the titles "Ten Little Indians" and/or "Ten Little Niggers." The PC game adapts the basic premise of the book, with minor deviations every now and then. Basically, it is about ten strangers strangers invited to a mysterious island by an equally mysterious host. This host now accuses them of being murderers and vows to serve justice. Quite eerily, the ten guests were killed one after the other by an unknown killer. The Adventure Company President and CEO Richard Wah Kan had this to say about the Nintendo Wii game version of Agatha Christie's book: We are very excited to take this new direction with our adventure
titles and are certain that our fans will find Agatha Christie: And
Then There Were None to be a perfect fit for the Nintendo Wii. Many PC adventure game fans are having a great time with the Wii and
we’d like to be the first to deliver them games they love on a console
they’ve embraced. There are still no elaborate details for Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None as of now, but The Adventure Company mentioned that the new video game will use the Wiimote to a full extent. Examples given include using a digging motion to unearth clues and spinning the handle of a safe. Timed puzzles, likewise, have also been added to make the game more interesting. |
