Square Enix - Image 1 Is there any truth that there's a bitter rivalry between Square Enix icons Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura? Is this the reason why they're supposedly working on separate Final Fantasy Versus XIII games? What does he think of former boss Hironobu Sakaguchi's work with the Final Fantasy franchise? All the answers in the full article.

We need a key to unlock all of Tetsuya's secrets. - Image 1What a tease. If PlayStation Universe (PSU) got their translation right, Tetsuya Nomura has recently told Famitsu that the world can expect "visuals" of Kingdom Hearts 3 before the year's end. By "visuals" this can mean: target render demonstrations, gameplay and CGI demonstrations, or even real-time rendered gameplay or visuals. PSU offers no specifics, which may mean they found none in Famitsu to confirm which visuals Nomura was talking about.

Other dogs that didn't bark: whether it will appear on the PS3 and/or the Wii (or elsewhere), whether it will use the White Engine or Unreal Engine 3, any other details about the "other games" in the Kingdom Hearts universe (and their destination platforms), and if Rufus the Naked Molerat, true to form, will be a deus ex machina special attack. Hey, anything can happen.

Kingdom HeartsThere's hasn't been too much word about Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts. And for most of us, the closest we ever got to a preview of what's to come was the ending trailer in KHII, which looked more like something out of a Sentai show.

Then there was Square Enix's highly photographed presence at Jump Festa, with the enigmatic "New Project Starting in 2007" message that popped up shortly after their trailers. And that's why we're happy to be reporting this bit of news, courtesy of IGN, who picked up the tidbit from Famitsu, who in turn extracted the info from producer Tetsuya Nomura.

Nomura-san's apparently promising that there are multiple projects underway for the Kingdom Hearts franchise. While he can't provide for any concrete details on the said projects, he does say that new info should develop midway next year. So there you have it - We advice the fans to keep calm and just wait for other news snippets that might crawl out of the woodwork, and for now, satisfy themselves with the swarms of Sora cosplayers on youtube - there's plenty to go around.
