Great news to all Wii emulator fans! Homebrew coders tehpola, sepp256 and emu_kidid has release the first beta of Wii64, a port of the ever-popular multi-OS Nintendo 64 emulator, Mupen64, to the Nintendo Wii and Gamecube through the libOGC library.

I'm glad to see this project is still alive. WiiSX, the PSOne emulator for the Wii, has been given an update. The emulator is still "far from stable," but the project is moving along with new features, upgrades, and the addition of various support systems. Details after the link.

The wonder team of Wii homebrew developers who brought us the Wii64 is now shooting for the stars in their next project: WiiSX. They've successfully emulated the PSOne platform on the Nintendo Wii. In fact, we've got a demo video in the full article showing a work-in-progress version of the emulator (complete with demo-cameo of Chrono Cross!)
