Hudson Soft opens Sudoku Japanese site - Image 1

Hudson Soft's Sudoku has been announced even before the console itself was launched. Despite that however, the game generally created little buzz, probably because there's nothing much to talk about that we haven't heard yet. Hey, it's Sudoku - the logic-based number placement puzzle that dates back to the 19th century.

Anyway, as part of its marketing strategy and to make people know more about the game, Hudson Soft just opened a Sudoku-dedicated site for the Japanese fans. If you want to see it, even though we mentioned that it's in Japanese, the Read link below should take you to the official site.

Lastly, if we're not mistaken, the game will be released in the Land of the Rising Sun (that's Japan for the younger ones) on March 21 for Yen 3,990 (US$ 34.22). There is still no word if the game will be shipped overseas.

HudsonWhenever flowers are in bloom, bees are just all over them. These social, hardworking insects are unable to resist themselves from eating sweet, sweet, nectar. The past days have been very sweet as well for the blossoming Nintendo Wii. Accordingly, it too has got a bee follower: Hudson Entertainment.

Just today, the game developer confirms eight new upcoming releases for Wii. The first two will come out together with the console's launch in Japan this December. Remember the flight game everyone was buzzing about during the past E3? Well, that's one! Currently, it is still under the working title Wing Island. On the other hand, Korinpa is a game involving a ball, a goal, and an excellent use of the Wii controller.

During the latter part of December, we'll see the release of two more titles including the fishing simulation game we were wondering about the other day, Tsuri Master. Sudoku, a puzzle game that has been successful in other consoles and handhelds, will also have a Wii version.

To complete the list are: Batinda (February 2007); Crossword (March 2007); Jigsaw Puzzle (March 2007) and Bomberman Land (March 2007). Hudson also provided a video for all these titles and more, to entice us better, in the official Japanese website of Nintendo.
