Despite lukewarm initial reactions to The House of the Dead: Overkill and MadWorld, publisher Sega believes that the Nintendo Wii is still a viable platform for putting out M-rated games. More after the jump.

 Following the government decision to uphold PEGI as the sole and official ratings board in UK, the BBFC has sent their well-wishes, albeit still with that restrained barb. The Super Monkey is not done conquering gaming platforms, after it launched itself into the N-Gage and iPhone market streams. A page at the US Patent & Trademark Office reveals that another Super Monkey Ball title is set to come to the Wii, named as "Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll".

It's been confirmed by Site Admin RubyEclipse over at the Sega Boards that the high-powered Virtua Tennis 2009 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) has had its shipment date move to June of this year. It seems that the delay was caused by the need to add some more improvements.

Six year old Christer from Norway was tired of his name, and since he was a big fan of Sonic, he wanted to be named after his favorite video game character. In fact, he wanted it so bad that he actually wrote to King Harald V asking for permission to have his name legally changed to "Sonic X." The King must've found the story so cute that he replied.
