Wii homebrew - Image 1Homebrew coder Molokai has released OpenTyrianWii, a port of the arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter game Tyrian for the Nintendo Wii. The dev says that this release is much more stable and fully functional than the other OpenTyrian ports.

Homebrew - xwhiite-linux 0.1 - Image 1 A new Wii-Linux distro is out from developer Bert Jan. It's has the existing Debian/Whiite package as its foundation, but it has Xorg running on top of it. The distro is appropriately named xwhiite. Details after the link.

The GC-Linux Team has released a major update to the Wii Linux project, and now the specially crafted Linux flavor distro is loaded with new applications and features that Linux whizzes will definitely appreciate as soon as they try it out.
