MotionPlus Tech Was Too Expensive - Image 1When Nintendo revealed the MotionPlus accessory for the Wiimote back at E3, I bet a lot of you had the same thought I had. "So... it'll make my motion-sensing controller... work better? Why in Miyamoto's name wasn't it built in at the start in the first place?" Nintendo Wii video game news - Image 1Well we all know how much of a problem data storage is on the Wii, but it seems Nintendo's solution might be a bit overkill. A newly uncovered patent indicates that they are looking into holographic data storage, what may very well be the next media storage tech after Blu-ray, with future models being developed to hold up to 1.6 terabytes of space. The Wii Weekend WarriorConsidering it's the week after E3, you'd think the Wii scene would simmer down a little, but I am pleasantly surprised to see that it hasn't. A lot of great stuff happened this week, including hints of a new Wii Photo Channel, Nintendo finally working on that darned storage problem, and... what's this? Former Microsoft exec Peter Moore believes the Wii will sweep up in this generation's console war. Don't that beat all. Plenty more this week, so let's get started on the Wii Weekend Warrior!

Nintendo Wii - Fatal Frame 4 - Tecmo - Image 1Sadness might be out of the vaporware bin (thanks to Nibris' earlier promise to bring it to Leipzig this year), but what about Rygar: The Battle of Argus? Some of you might have expected to see that and Fatal Frame 4 gracing their presence in the Tecmo booth at this year's E3 event. Too bad both games were a no-show - which may come as a bit of a shock to some of you since Fatal Frame 4's bound to be released at the end of this month already. So why a no-show?
