More updates from homebrew dev Tantric today as he released a new version of FCE Ultra GX, a modified port of FCE ultra v0.98.12 NES emulator for the Nintendo Wii. The latest release has fixed the auto-update, increased file browser list, added new features and fixed various bugs.

Nothing says "gamer inside" on your front door like having a NES controller for a doorbell. In this unrevealed gamer home, a NES controller was modded into a wireless doorbell, giving visitors an added treat when coming over. Video inside.

After 8 years and 12 piercings, BME user metal_games wants to move on to other forms of art he can apply to his body. But instead of going down the tattoo road, this guy opted to go for scarification, wherein you intentionally scar yourself to create a pattern or an image. The interesting bit here is that the design isn't what you usually see - it's the image of the NES controller. For the squeamish, the pics may not be too suitable for you guys.

Tantric seems to be getting his brew on lately. FCE Ultra GX, the NES emulator, gets another update with the release of v3.0.3. This version boasts improved stability, as well as a bunch of other fixes to keep the emulator running smoothly. Changelog after the jump.

Homebrew developer Tantric has rolled out another update for FCE Ultra GX. This homebrew app lets you emulate and play NES games on your Nintendo Wii. The update bumps FCE Ultra GX up to version 3.0.1 and includes fixes for the GameCube controller home trigger and USB support.

Developer Tantric is back with a new release of his NES emulator for the Wii based on the PCemulator FCE Ultra v0.98.12. One of the significant updates of the version 3.0.0 is a new GX-based menu with a completely redesigned layout. It also has  Wiimote IR support, new sounds, graphics, animation effects, and more.

Nintendo Italy has revealed their upcoming WIi game Punch Out!! will be featuring the Balance Board support. Seeing as how Punch Out!!! is an arcade boxing title originally from the NES and SNES, having this new peripheral should be interesting, to say the least. Details and screenshots after the jump.
