With Sony and Microsoft making such big headliners back in E3, the
aftermath has left Nintendo a bit unsung. Worry not though, that's what
the Weekend Warrior is for, so you can get a quick recap of all things
Nintendo that hit the scene this week. Hardware is the name of the game
for the past few days, and so we have a one for a pedometer,
motion-sensors, and a lie detector. |

While the camera-based motion-sensing tech shown by Sony and Microsoft
during E3 definitely impressed a lot of gamers, Nintendo president
Satoru Iwata had more of a "been there, done that" attitude. |

There's quite a lot to catch up on this week if you haven't been
checking up, and there's a lot of color to go around too. Gold and
silver are the colors of the new Pokemon remakes that have now been confirmed for the DS. Red is the theme of the crisp-looking Red Steel 2,
although it's rather unfortunate that others won't see the video now.
Finally, there's black, and quite a lot of it as the black-cloaked
Nobodies of Organization XIII dish out some serious pain. Catch all
that and more on this week's recap. |

Nintendo's really trying to get some motion going for Wii MotionPlus.
Electronic Arts has now formally announced that they're pushing through with the collaboration, bundling two of their
upcoming titles with the new motion-sensing controller. Soon, you could
be playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis with the latest in Ninty's motion-sensing technology. |

While everyone's trying to get into the motion-sensing scene to compete with the Wii's popularity, the Wii's going back to a more traditional form of gaming. They upgraded their Classic Controller to the new Classic Controller PRO, which has a distinct PlayStation flavor to it.Details after the link. Thanks to Silver-Tiger for the tip! |

There's been some rumors and whispers lately that Nintendo might be upgrading the built-in motion-sensing technology for Wiimotes - an internal MotionPlus accessory, so to speak. They've denied it though, dismissing reports as "purely rumor and speculation." |
