Missed our favorite analyst, Michael Pachter much? Don't worry, he's back, and he's got more than two cents in opinion on the event that he predicted dead last year, E3 Expo. This time around, he zooms in on the highlights of the Expo, the new motion controllers of the big three. His verdict: No Natal nor PS3 MC will topple down the great, big Wii.

E3 2009 is just about to wrap up, and already, we have a date for next year's event. Talk about having an early start. Waaaay early. But we can't complain. After all, with all the preparations they did for this year's Expo, we saw one of the most exciting gaming conferences in quite a while. So bring the early preps on!

The March 2009 hardware sales figures haven't been released yet, so you can expect Michael Pachter and EEDAR to throw in their pre-NPD report forecasts. Some numbers for their projected sales of consoles during last month may vary, but one thing remains similar: the Wii may still be on the lead, but the gap between the PS3 and Xbox 360 seems to be thinning down.

And Michael Pachter's at it once more. What's he got to say this time around? This is the last console generation. Oh, I thought there was gonna be another one, especially after the debut of CryEngine 3 and it being next-gen ready. But am no analyst, so I could be wrong.

Michael Pachter sure is all over gaming news right now. He's been making predictions left and right lately. This time, he predicts that Nintendo will raise its hardware expectations after they release their strong Q3 performance.

Let the record show that Michael Pachter was right. Ubisoft has officially announced that they'll be releasing Assassin's Creed 2 during their next fiscal year (March 2009 to March 2010). A new Ghost Recon and Red Steel game are also coming. Details after the link.

Nintendo's Wii console has been consistent at getting the top spot in hardware sales for this generation's race. However, despite the whopping numbers, there remains Sony's PS2 at the top of the all-time charts, reigning supreme after all this years. Then again, maybe that won't be for long, if Michael Pachter is to be correct.
