WiiBrew news and updates - Image 1Wad Studio v0.0.0.2b14 is a Windows application from Wilsoff, aimed at helping the user edit animated WADs (Banner and Icon). What it does is to automate the extraction of images from a WAD file provided by the user. It then converts these images to TGA format, and from there you can edit it in Photoshop or GIMP 2.0.

Homebrew - GeeXboX Unofficial 0.1Alpha04 - Image 1An unofficial version of GeeXboX has been released by Wiibrew developer Tulkas. GeeXboX is a port of the popular media player program for the Wii, and can play all audio and video files that MPlayer can. This new version adds support for even more file system types. MPlayerWii v0.06 - Image 1MPlayer seems to be the name of the game this week in the Wiibrew community. Not long after the latest release of GeeXboX, developer fcorbier has released a new version of his media player for the Wii, MPlayerWii. This version gets a speed boost on reading USB devices, and added support for the classic controller.
