Here is a cool Wiibrew game courtesy of  homebrew coder Tantric. Super Mario War Wii is a port of a Super Mario multiplayer game Super Mario War using SDL Wii. The games features up to four player deathmatch, different game modes and more. The goal of the game is to stomp as many other Marios as possible to win the game.

Here's another new compiled version of QuakeGX, this time courtesy of Ciaran Gillespie. The dev notes that the input.cpp in this release has been rewritten in C and that it has a modified makefile system. More details are available in the full article.

A new update of MPlayer CE has been released by Scip, Rodries, and the rest of the dev team. If you remember, MPlayer CE is a port of MPlayer by Team Twiizers which combines the features of MPlayerWii and GeeXboX. The new update of the Wiibrew media player has a ton of changes and improvements.

CashMan has updated his Channel File Manager app to beta 4. In case you haven't come across this homebrew Wii app before, Channel File Manager is a hybrid of WAD Manager 1.3 and AnyTitle Deleter that lets you manage the Channels on your Nintendo Wii console. This release features added support for SDHC and USB 2.0 along with a new system for loading custom IOS files.

Developer Hell_hibou is back with an update to Wii Homebrew Launcher, the Wiibrew GUI organizer that is modeled after the Wii Menu. This new version has integrated the Wii GameCube Homebrew Launcher, so now you can run GC homebrew as well. Details after the link.

Wii homebrew devs Cboomf and Felix123 just came up with an update for the Wii Web Server alpha, it's now up v0.91, featuring vast speed improvements, which is a very welcome boost to this app. Other improvements and changes are in the changelog.

O2em for the Wii v1.0 is an Odyssey/ Videopac emulator for the Wii. This version hosts SDHC support, built with the latest libogc and libfat. There are a few bugs here and there in this release, but hey, this is just the first one, anyway, so we'll be sure to get more improvements in the future. Wiiengine is a homebrew PC Engine emulator for the Nintendo Wii console. Developer Hermes has further bolstered the emulator's functionality with the release of version 1.5. You can check out the full changelog for Wiiengine v1.5 after the jump.

Wiibrew developer teknecal has released a new version of Homebrew Browser, the program that can let you download and update homebrew straight from your console. This version sports a new "Popular" category, several other features, as well as bug fixes. Details in the full article.
