Call me deluded but I'm pretty optimistic when it comes to "vaporware" software. The quotes are there since sometimes these things do become solid. It paid off with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, so yeah, I'm still hopeful that Nibris' Sadness would turn out the same.

Now don't go thinking this is another one of those depressing economic news - it's not. It's just your average depressing video game convention news, like E3. A press release just went out announcing that this year's Leipzig Games Convention has been canceled, but they will be holding a new event in its place called Games Convention Online.

"Ready for GAME time!" Tokyo Game Show 2008's theme is definitely one that can get your heart pumping. I know something else that might get your heart pumping: the full list of exhibitors to be present in this year's gaming event at Tokyo. Knowing the exhibitors at TGS 2008 might give a hint as to what games we can probably expect on the show floor (and knowing what games can, in turn, give us a hint as to what types of boothbabe cosplays we might expect to see too). This year's Games Convention at Leipzig was a sure fire success. And though some of you might not think that the same could be said about E3, GC 2009 has already been scheduled. Via press release, we find out that this year's event has set records above and beyond what GC 2007 had, and reception from the masses has definitely shown a good sign that the video games industry is booming more than it used to.

And the games continue to pour at the Leipzig Games Convention 2008. Joining the fray is Daedalic Entertainment and their new titles that they will be presenting in their show booth. But if you're not in the event, no need to worry cos we're bringing the assets right to you.

Hudson Soft brought their Kororinpa 2 with them to the Leipzig Games Convention, but unfortunately, the presentation wasn't all that ironed out. Glitches rolled out, much to the dismay of the hapless rolling ball in-game, and those who checked it out at Hudson's booth.

Publisher Sega has revealed their mystery game which has caused much speculation in the past couple of weeks. It's unfortunately not Jet Set Radio as some may have hoped, but it is a new installation of an original franchise. It's House of the Dead: Overkill for the Wii and we have a video for you to check out.
