Hideo Kojima recently visited the offices of Call of Duty studio, Infinity Ward. This caused a bit of ruckus in the rumor mill, with people taking this as a sign that Kojima's next game really is a first-person shooter. Robert Bowling from Infinity Ward, however, has something to say about that. Details after the link. |

Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward director for Call of Duty is apparently unhappy - to say the least - with Activision's Noah Heller. Why? Because according to him, Heller doesn't know what he's talking about and that he shouldn't pitch World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) by comparing it with the previous CoD installments. After packing up from the Microsoft offices, Bungie may have a thing or two to learn from Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). Bungie Lead AI Programmer Damian Isla mentioned he admires CoD4's performance against their own Halo 3 as the most played game on Xbox Live. More in our full article. |

In the video game industry, it's important not to rest on one's laurels. Activision probably knows this. In spite of the fact that its Q4 and fiscal year 2008 financial reports have shown encouraging results, the company is already planning its next ventures in the near future. This was evident in the company's recent conference call. More lucrative news follows after the jump. |
