Raz0red's Wii homebrew app Wii2600 is an Atari 2600 emulator based on the open-source Stella 2.7.2. If you're new to the whole Wii homebrew scene, an emulator will basically let you play games made for other systems on your Wii console. In this case, Atari 2600 games. Pikmin game coming soon? Let's do the time warp for a bit and recall Shigeru Miyamoto's words back at E3 2008. "We're making Pikmin" is all that he said pertaining to the much-requested sequel to the GameCube original franchise. Now here comes Edge Magazine with a full-page ad for their 203rd issue. The ad itself is just a shot of a patch of grass, but some eagle-eyed observers have noted that in the top-right hand corner, there's a little purple blob that resembles a Pikmin.

Capcom's Captivate09 event has revealed that Resident Evil Archives will indeed come out this June. Hey, it turns out that retailers got it right this time. No word yet on if it'll indeed ship in a bundle with Resident Evil Zero, but the name does suggest more than one game. Check out some details and screenshots after the jump.
