Homebrew coders Scip, Rodries and the rest of the MPlayer CE team have released a new update for MPlayer CE, a feature-packed media player for the Nintendo Wii. The latest update of the homebrew has added support for FTP, speed improvements, NTFS support and more bug fixes.

It's been awhile since we heard from joedj, but now he's back with a new update for FTPii. This Wiibrew utility is an ftp server for the Nintendo Wii. The new update has fixed some bugs and adds support for SDHC Gecko.

FTPii is an FTP server for the Wii. To use, Copy ftpii/ to /apps/ on an SD-card and use The Homebrew Channel, or load boot.dol using your favorite mechanism (wiiload, Twilight Hack, ISO etc.). Once loaded, FTPii will display the IP address of your Wii and the port that it's listening on. It comes with DVD features too, but you'll need a working installation of DVDX for that. Here comes another update for FTPii from Wiibrew developer joedj. As the name of the app implies, this is an FTP server for the Wii to let you easily transfer files to and from your PC. This latest version has support for ISO9660 DVD and Wii Optical Disc images. Details after the link.

This one's up to version 0.0.15 now and you'll find that there's a couple of treats his got stashed in this goodie bag. It's now got SDHC support now, for one.
