Farter is back with a new update for his Wii port of GeeXboX. GeeXboX
is a media player application that can play all audio and video files
that MPlayer can. For this release, farter has added some updates for Linux and MPlayer

GeeXboX is a port of the popular media player program for the Wii, and can play all audio and video files that MPlayer can. This new version adds support for even more file system types. It's been a while since we heard from GeeXboX, but it seems the wait was well worth it. In case you missed the previous release, GeeXboX is a media center prototype for the Wii. This build is based on the recently released Whiite-Linux system, which adds a significant number of features to the program, including networking and USB support.
