It's numbers time yet again! Famitsu's come out with their hardware sales charts, albeit a bit late this week. Still on top: DSi. And what's this we see inching closer to the top, a mere 4,000 units shy? It's the PSP with 40,000, just a tad bit below the DSi who has 44,000. The Xbox 360, meanwhile, edges out over PS2 with just 2,000 more units sold.

Well, Media Create's official Japanese hardware sales are out, and I'd have to say Famitsu pretty much had it down pat with their released estimates from yesterday, give or take a few couple of hundreds. Official numbers after the jump.

Famitsu's estimates on the latest hardware sales figures from Japan puts the previously down-trodden PlayStation 3 Sony console to a nicer spot at the top. That's much nicer.

Could there be an Okami sequel? If 24/7 convenience store 7-11 is to be believed, then yes, there will be one indeed. This piece of information was indicated in their online database, under the name of "Okamiden."

Sega is back to teasing new games again. Recently, they've opened up another teaser site which, judging by the URL, seems to be for a new RPG title. More after the jump.

The Nintendo news has really quited down as of late, but that doesn't mean you're getting squat from us this week. No way. This week's edition of the Nintendo Weekend Warrior is very much alive and kicking, and it's packed with release info for some of the best titles out there coming to Wii and DS. Good, cos there's another one coming from Atlus, and this time it brings it into the more stressful world of hospitals. Simply called Hospital, this iteration of the Trauma Center franchise puts the coat on Wii-med students to play as doctors and as cosmetic surgeons. Don't blotch up that nose job now.

The Japanese are about to get a new treat to go crazy over again, with another Monster Hunter set to take them by storm.
