The 2009 Today's Gamers International Survey reveals a fact that has been pretty obvious for quite a while now: more and more US citizens consider playing video games as their primary past time.

The previous week may not have seen much official word and quotable quotes from Reggie or any of the other Nintendo bigwigs, but if you're keeping tabs on upcoming Wiixclusives, this edition of the Nintendo Weekend Warrior will hook you up with the right read. Physical games media may be at the sunset of their lives, according to David Perry. Speaking at an opening keynote in UK for the 4th Annual Develop Conference in Brighton, the GaiKai founder expressed his belief that "It won't be long before 100 per cent of games are all online."

It's over. It's done. E3 2009 has come and gone, and the worldwide gaming community is left to sift through the announcements, reveals, videos, hype and promises that came out of the yearly gaming expo this past week.

Oohhh-kay. That went relatively well, wouldn't you say? Nintendo's E3 2009 presentation wasn't just all about smiles this time around. They did try to be harder-hitting, and we gotta give them props for that. Overall, it was... alright. About one or two items only that got us kinda raising our voices a decibel higher in excitement.

Thanks to Neversoft's GH Metallica (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2) Lead Designer Alan Flores, we've got new details about the much-awaited Metal-tastic installment for the game-music franchise. Even better to know is that the guys behind the game are actual Metallica fans. It's all in good hands, then?
