Final Fantasy XIII - Image 1Adding DLC on Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) is not the only thing that Square Enix is taking into consideration. Yoshi Kitase reveals that they are in fact considering putting downloadable content to future Final Fantasy titles. Read more after the jump.

Rock Band - Image 1Pearl Jam is getting their own Rock Band title, apparently, and they're building up some early hype for their upcoming Rock Band game by releasing their new album, Backspacer, as downloadable content on the same day the album hits stores.

Aeris - Image 1Big things up for Square Enix! They've just set up shop in LA, and in an interview, SE US president John Yamamoto has confided their plans: the LA studio is going digital. He also revealed the general direction the corporation is going - global markets and what not. But in what could be called as one of the boldest statements ever made in the industry, he's already declaring the exclusivity war officially over. Like whoa.

Grand Theft Auto IV - Image 1Have you guys noticed that platforms seem to have a new strategy of grabbing exclusive downloadable content for games? Well, the strategy worked for the Xbox 360 when they bagged exclusive DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV. One analyst says that this is just the beginning. Rock Band 2 - Image 1MTV Games has announced that songs from the first Rock Band game will not be available as downloadable content for Rock Band 2. Apparently, the reasons are capitalistic as they plan to publish the first game "indefinitely." Better call up your friends and see if you can borrow a copy to export the songs.

Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1According to Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith, here will be an increased focus on downloadable content in Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, DS). Capcom logo - Image 1Those of you who've seen the previous promotional artwork for Mega Man 9 might be surprised to find out Capcom has gotten more than a little bit serious about it. Despite being delivered as downloadable content for various consoles, the publishers have come up with a promo "box art" for the game using a retro-styled NES box and casing.
