Let me start by clarifying that this is in no way a Nintendo marketing attempt for the New Super Mario Bros. Wii coming out on November 15th (WTF if this is). This happened for real. Two guys dressed up as Mario and Luigi (presumably for Halloween), plus one other suspect, are now wanted by the police for assault and robbery on a poor cabbie.

The musical virtuosos at OverClocked ReMix are up to some monkey business. Serious Monkey Business, in fact. That's the name of their latest project still in the works, which is the re-imagination of the music of Donkey Kong Country 2.

Shia LaBeouf is clearly not a fan of the Wii. In an interview with The Big Download, Shia states that he doesn't "mess with the Wii" because "it's kind of an amateur console. I'm not into the Wii thing."

Here's a nice treat for the DKC fans - from the massive melting pot that is YouTube comes two music mash-ups featuring the music from Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3. What's interesting here is that some music across those two titles are actually very similar, and even DKC fans would appreciate the seemless transition between the tracks. Grab your headphones or turn up your speakers - this one's gonna take you back to the good ol' days.

While this week's crop of new games doesn't really scream "Triple-A", it is noteworthy for having Patapon 2, the vanguard/forward scout for Sony's foray into digital distribution for the PlayStation Portable. Other picks this week include the release of the Wii version of Namco's PlayStation original, Klonoa. Love 2D action with a challenge? Why not try Red Square v0.2 for your Wii? It's a classic 2D game, just grab onto the red square and move it without touching walls and the blue blocks. It gets pretty challenging, especially when using the Wiimote. Try it out!

New DS, check. Storage solution for Wii, check. GameCube games for the Wii? Uber check! Announced during today's Nintendo press conference is Wii de Asobu Selection. It's a new line of Nintendo releases, taking their first-party titles from the GameCube and bringing them over to the Wii. No, they're not just re-releasing them as they were in the GameCube! Nintendo is enhancing their previous games and giving them Wiimote support, kinda like what Capcom did for Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

Here's your Wii-kly US Wii Shop Channel update: those who yearn to participate in gastronomic competitions will no doubt take a liking to Mastiff's Major League Eating: The Game, while those who want to get their usual trip to memory lane will enjoy Donkey Kong 3 and Ninja Commando.

I was browsing along my merry way in the Net when I happened upon this little treasure from Blik. They have a line of super large Super Mario stickers for walls and such.
