And so they finally spilled. Nintendo has finally confirmed the much talked about price cut for their Nintendo Wii console, and it's happening indeed on September 27. Beginning that day forth, the US$ 249 console will be marked down to -- you guessed it -- US$ 199.

Nintendo's sent out the list of their holiday line-up, and it looks like their Christmas goodie bags are bursting at the seams with their holiday offerings - even without those Christmas lights turned on yet. Included in the list are much-awaited titles like Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and a new Castlevania title for WiiWare.

Ninty fans are getting the big guns at this coming E3 2009 as the bigwigs of Nintendo confirmed attendance for the event. Among the heavy-hitters making their way to the LA Convention Center on June 2, 2009 are Satoru Iwata, Reggie Fils-Aime, and Cammie Dunaway.

Ah, Wii Music. The only Wii-branded Nintendo title not to sell oodles and oodles of copies (it only sold half an oodle). It looks like Nintendo's going to music teachers to keep the game in "evergreen" mode, though.

This little factoid would have been news like, two years ago, but since everyone seems to have realized it only now, today it's just a factoid. So, just so you're in the know: Nintendo's logo is no longer red.

Love 'em or hate 'em, you can't deny that the Wii has the largest install base in this gen. You probably have one in your living room even if you don't touch it. So why not get freebies since it's already there? Club Nintendo will be launching in the US before the end of the year, and they'll be offering freebies for your undying love.

They know they've alienated their hardcore gamers, and they're more than set to make up for it. Cammie Dunaway of Nintendo has admitted that they were none too pleased with their presentation at E3. Recognizing that they may very well have turned off their own hardcore base, she reassures that Nintendo is taking steps to appease them. How exactly?

Hoping for a newly-colored Wii, or a slimmer DS handheld? Don't hold your breath, since your hopes would probably take a long time to get fulfilled.
