It's going to be a tight battle between the Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox 360 for this year's holiday season, according to Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter. However, it doesn't matter which console will win - the year will prove to be a good, profitable year for the gaming industry whichever console nabs the highest sales numbers. It's been a busy week this Thanksgiving for Microsoft, who reports that  it had to replenish supplies to top retailers who had sold out of Xbox 360s for the shopping week.
