Not only that, but 40% of the companies in the games industry will be caught unprepared for this shift in consumer choice.

Super Mario Galaxy gets BAFTA Best Game award - Image 1 Mario games have always been popular in the UK, and Super Mario Galaxy proves it by beating out the likes of Fallout 3, Fable II, and even GTA IV for BAFTA's Best Game Award. The GAME Award this year goes to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, as voted on by gamers.

Bully from Rockstar Games - Image 1 Bully (Xbox 360, Wii, PS2), the "Dennis the Menace simulator" game from Rockstar Games that went through its fair share of controversy (considering Rockstar's history for it), recently won the Best Videogame Script at the BAFTA awards.

The script for Bully (also known as Canis Canem Edit in Europe) was written by Dan Houser and Jacob Krarup.
