Republic Heroes - Image 1Message from LucasArts there is. Delay there will be. Yoda-speak aside, LucasArts did confirm earlier at the Comic-Con in San Diego that Star Wars: Clone Wars Republic Heroes (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, 360) have been pushed back a month, although the Dark Side keeps us from finding out the cause of the delay.

The big topic this week though, is whether Nintendo really has abandoned its core gamer in favor of the mass market. A lot of you certainly had some strong opinions on the matter. Let's get started with this week's Wii Weekend Warrior!

Okay, so moving eggs around in a white room was cool. Slamming those eggs into the wall to make crows/raven's magically materialize is also a nice trick, but it still smells of un-experienced padawan. In the off-chance you're wondering what a true "master of the Force" can do, check out this fan-made Wiimote advert below. Warning: has a few droplets of blood, but it's nothing we can't handle.

No crying babies, exploding cubes, or mutated flowers here, just plain mastery of the Force. Oh, and be sure to use those straps, just so that you don't fall into the dark-side.

Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? And well you should not. For my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it. Makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you. Here between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere. Yes, even between the land and the ship.

-Yoda
