Pearl Harbor Trilogy - Image 1WiiWare seems to be beefing up on games lately. Swedish publisher Legendo Entertainment is looking to add three more to the growing archive with the Pearl Harbor Trilogy, based on their PC game, Attack on Pearl Harbor. It's still a work in progress, but if they push through with it, we're looking at a neat little flight sim on WiiWare.

Gearbox Software - Image 1Texas-based studio Gearbox has confirmed that that they have indeed trademarked the "War Hero" IP. Superannution has reported that there are actually four titles stringed to this new IP, filed on June 18th of this year. More details after the jump.

Activision Barks Back at PETA on Call of Duty: World at War - Image 1 War is hell, for attack dogs and humans alike. Just because dogs happen to be cuddlier than humans doesn't mean that they were spared the horrors of war. Activision has responded back to PETA's complaint about killing hostile attack dogs in Call of Duty: World at War.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Slips - Image 1Previously listed with a May 22 release, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is now slated for a June release. No reason was given for the delay, but I heard from the grapevine that Indy slipped on a banana peel. My sources are very reliable.

Captain Blood, IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey announced for consoles - Image 1One of Russia's most distinguished game developer and publisher, 1C company, has announced two new game projects that will be their first on the next generation consoles. The two games are based on Captain Blood novels and the successful IL-2 Sturmovik flight combat simulation series.  Both are now heading to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (to North America with help), but even handhelds will feel some love as well.
