Naruto - Image 1We've already reported that Tomy's Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution will be playable at this year's San Diego Comic Con, but it seems that attendees will also be getting a little something extra.

Aside from being able to try out the game at the Viz Media booth, Naruto fans can also get a chance to win a Nintendo Wii video game console. One lucky winner will be selected at random at 2:30 P.M. on July 28. The winner will also get to take home an exclusive Naruto Wii skin from Gamer Graffix.

Those interested should drop by booth #4113 to try out the game and join the contest. The San Diego Comic Con runs from July 25 to July 29 at the the San Diego Convention Center.

Get Reborn! There's a new game that's been announced for the Wii, and in it, you can expect your life to change drastically. So drastically, in fact, that you come back from the dead! That's part of what you have to contend with in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (Tutor Hitman Reborn!).

Based on the manga by Akira Amano, Reborn! tells the story of a loser named Tsuna Sawada, who doesn't know that he's the last remaining heir to a mafia family. He eventually meets Reborn, his mafia tutor and hitman, who promptly shoots him with his trademark "dying will bullet", which causes the victim to be reborn into a stronger version of himself, intent on fulfilling his final wishes.

As you can guess, Tsuna becomes a stronger version of himself and begins training to become a mafia boss in an effort to fulfill all of his dying wishes. Did we mention that he gets reborn with an undying flame on his head? No? Well, now we just did.

Marvelous Interactive recently announced this on the Japanese magazine V-Jump, so we'll be keeping tabs on it until we hear more about Tsuna, Reborn, and their trials and tribulations. You can bet that it will eventually get released here, however, because Viz Media licensed the comic recently as well. In the meantime, you can also expect to see him as a playable character in Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars when they come out on the DS.

When was your last time in an anime convention? In fact, when was your last time in any kind of convention? And, no, the annual convention for the Girl Scout Cookie Club doesn't count. Come November, some of you Naruto fans will have a chance to participate in GA Viz Media's Naruto mall tour.

In the national tour that's set to sweep U.S., fans will be able to catch sneak-peeks of new episodes of the series and participate in other events such as a Chakra Challenge where you could "learn special moves and techniques with an instructor". More than that, they can battle it out in the Naruto games by Namco Bandai and D3Publisher - Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja (both for the PS2).

Notch your calendars, people! Free your Saturdays. These events all start from 12 noon to 7 p.m.
  • NarutoNovember 4: Cumberland Mall, Atlanta, GA
  • November 11: Mall of America, Bloomington, MN
  • November 18: Lakeline Mall, Cedar Park, TX
While the event is still scheduled for November, Viz Media is planning to extend the tour with more mall visits next year. Y'know, what that means. By that time, they just might have demos for their upcoming games in the franchise. We wouldn't mind going out of our way to check out the new Naruto games for the Wii, 360, and DS. Otherwise, we might fall to temptation and attend the Girl Scout Cookie Club convention instead.
