From Xeron with love this Valentine's Day is Giddy 3, a Wii homebrew
platform puzzler game. The original version was released in 2001 for
MS-DOS, but Xeron managed to acquire the source code as of last year,
and so he converted it to C.Download: Giddy 3 |

After Jeff Gerstmann, Frank Provo, and Alex Navarro's resignation from GameSpot, yet another long-time reviewer left the GameSpot offices: Ryan Davis. Davis, a close friend of Gerstmann's, was deeply affected by his friend's departure from the gaming information site. Do check out the full article to read Davis' statement. |

Still looking for stores that are selling Nintendo Wii units at normal prices? You'll be hard-pressed to find any at this point. That's why people who took advantage of GameStop and Nintendo's Wii Rain Check offer last month are breathing a sigh of relief. The promo may have gotten some bad press for not doing too well, but sweet vindication is now at hand. Find out why in the full article. |

Valentine's is just around the corner, and that also means giving gifts to your loved ones. If you want to give a unique Valentine's gift instead of the usual blah Hallmark card, then you may want to consider handing out chocolate Miis crafted by Paul Pape. More details in the full article! |

Valentine's Day

With February being the season of mush hearts and all that, we have to remember that this Valentine's Day, not everyone is as lucky as those who have found a partner to share this occasion with. Some guys and girls are lucky enough to find that one other person on the planet who shares their game addiction, who thinks Rinoa is a bi***, er, woman of questionable manners, and who is willing to either cosplay at their own wedding, or at least have a Mario-themed wedding cake.
Well, for those who have not yet found such a person, or who are planning to ask the a person out this weekend (well, the 14th WAS in the middle of a workweek...), let the Rabbids from Rayman Raving Rabbids show you a thing or to on what NOT to do during that critical moment when you finally get the chance to walk up to the person of your dreams and ask them out. First of all, no funny hats. Second, check if your lady love has a preference for facial hair or not. Third, "DAAAAAAAA!!" may not be such a good answer to any question. Any. However, note that being cute and fluffy MAY win you some points, so take note, and watch the video below for a demonstration of these Rabbid dating tips. |

People's reactions to Valentine's Day can be either positive or sorely negative. Face it. Not everyone has a special someone to spend V-Day with. So for those who haven't found their Mr/Mrs Right (bah, humbug! soulmates are for losers!) yet, you can't help but play by yourself.
Single people, take a look at this video. While we've already seen a couple of Wii Play videos before, this features a couple of the minigames as played in single-player mode. Here, we see the Target Practice, Tanks, Billiards, and Ping Pong minigames in action. Sometimes playing by yourself - just you, yourself, and your Wii - can be just as fun too: |
