Another QJ week has come and gone. Imagine that. Things sure happen real fast, don't it? But not as fast as the updates we got for the past several days. This week was particularly full of controversies. From rumors galore, to wonderful confirmed games releases, to advocacies and penalties, we've got it all covered here. So for those of you who can only afford a few minutes of time to linger in front of the computer (gotta hustle to bring home the dough), we present to you QuickJump QuickPeek #61.

This week's VC Monday gives us a couple of retro imports, Break In and Star Parodier. It's a cool trek once more to the past so we won't be holding you up any longer.

Developer eke-eke has updated the Hu-Go! GX homebrew emulator for the Nintendo Wii. Its latest build will now carry support for the Wiimote and Nunchuck controllers, among its other updates. The rest of the changelog is available in the full article.

We're letting the Wii owners in Europe know that Nintendo has released three more games to their territory. These games were originally exclusive to the territories of North America and Japan, so it'll be quite a treat. Find out more about them over in the full article.

Fireworks are in the air for Virtual Console users as Nintendo of Europe announced the latest batch of titles now available on the downloadable game service. Included in this week's update are several well-loved Japanese titles as well as the return of one of the most anticipated titles from the NeoGeo platform, Metal Slug. Australia's OFLC has recently updated with four more possible titles heading for the region's Virtual Console service for the Wii. Among other games, one that grabbed our attention is the presence of Japan's famous Cho Aniki shooter. Details on this matter are available in the full article.

We've got some good news for shooter fans who love their virtual console games. It seems two shooters (in addition to Super R-Type) have been rated by the ESRB for future release on the Wii: King's Knight and Final Soldier. More on these games after the jump!

Old school gamers will probably remember both games quite fondly. Japan based Wii Virtual Console gamers rejoice! It was revealed on the official Nintendo website that both Wrecking Crew (NES)and Dungeon Explorer II (TurboGrafx-16) will be released pretty soon. Both classic games should bring a smile to even the most jaded of gamers.
