Last week we saw Nintendo lead the pack for the second week in a row as Mario Kart Wii dominated the software charts in Japan. This week tells a very similar story as the wacky go kart racing title racked in an additional 152,000 copies and took the top spot in the Media Create software chart list once again. Read more about the other games on the list in our full article after the jump. |

If you fancy yourself a fan of the popular ninja-themed Naruto anime/manga/video game franchise, then you're in for a treat. We've found a short video which shows an insider look of the opening menu for the single player story mode of D3Publisher and Tomy's Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. The video basically shows how this English-ported game will look and sound like after the developers from Eighting have translated this game from its Japanese origins. The game itself is based on a mix of its previous iterations in the Clash of Ninja series, with a few additions thrown in when it comes to playable characters and all new special attack animations exclusive to the fighting game. You can take a sneak peek at how the English-voiced Naruto and Neji will sound like as they trash talk each other in the short video clip. For those of you who are familiar with the anime's and manga's storyline, this happens a during the Chunin exam, after Neji defeats Hinata in a duel which puts the two Hyuuga ninja's family honor at stake. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is a Wii exclusive release and set to hit stores this October 23 in a big time event at the Nintendo World Store. You can check out the video by clicking on the read link below. |

Naruto fever is in the air once again as Tomy and D3 Publisher release another game full of ninja madness in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution for the Nintendo Wii. The game showcases the first English translated release of the game for the Clash of Ninja series to finally reach gamers and fans alike here in North America. To show how much we're pumped up about the game, the publishers have given QJ.NET exclusive screenshots, game information, and even a video featuring everyone's favorite easy-going, spiky-haired, masked ninja sensei, Kakashi Hatake. As expected, Kakashi isn't called the copy ninja of the Hokage for nothing. Employing the power of his Sharingan eye, he can easily outwit any of his opponents by mimicking their most powerful techniques and, quite literally, turn the tables on them. The game itself plays through the early parts of the Naruto anime series, covering the events of the Chunin Exams arc up until the end of the Search for Tsunade arc. It's set to hit shelves this October 23, so get your Wiimote and Nunchuk hands at the ready for this fast-paced ninja fighting game. |

YouTube user FCSugarFree was lucky enough to attend the recent Anime
Expo 2007. We say lucky because this particular enthusiast was able to
see and play the upcoming title Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. The video game is scheduled for release sometime in the third quarter of this year.
Anyway, we have here two video clips showing fight scenes between Gaara and Naruto himself, as well as another one featuring Naruto and Sasuke. Speaking of characters, Clash of Ninja Revolution will have a total of 14 playable characters and six different stages with two combat zones each. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is being co-developed Tomy and Eighting. It will be published by D3 Publisher. See the other video after the jump! |

North American fans of the Naruto series, rejoice! The ninja-in-training is back and this time it's a Nintendo Wii and North America exclusive with Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. In this video game, players will be led through the storyline of the popular anime. It will also feature the nine different gameplay modes that can support up to four players. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution will also sport mini-games, interactive environments, and character animations. The Wii-exclusive will have more than 14 playable characters and six stages with two combat zones each. Since the game is tailor-made for the North American audience, we'll be seeing "all new special attack animations" coupled with the interactive environments and the overall effects. There's a game mode to suit everybody's taste: story mode, score attack, timed attack, survival, 2P Versus, 2P Score Attack, 2P Survival, and 1-4 Multiplayer Versus. You can train with the Wiimote on the following mini-games: Shuriken Throw, Rasengan Training, and Shadow Clone Trick. Well, Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution by Eighting, Tomy Corporation, and D3 Publisher does look promising and it looks like some of us will be praying for fall to come faster this year. We'll keep you posted on more information regarding the game. |
