You can't go wrong armed with the "power of rock," so said TT Games boss Jonathan Smith when talking about the character customizer feature for Lego Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and DS). "In a Lego world, where anything is possible, all the brilliant things about Rock Band mix with all the brilliant things about Lego." Suddenly it's not that hard to imagine crushing buildings down with that power chord.

Here's another video goodie update from TT Games: a gameplay video for Lego Batman: The Videogame (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, and PC). In the video, we see The Riddler and Catwoman wreaking havoc in Gotham City in all their Lego block glory. Check out video after the jump!

When TT Games announced that it will develop another LEGO game, we were excited. Then they revealed it was going to be LEGO Batman: The Videogame - we went ecstatic. The Dark Knight is indeed coming in blocky form, and if you can't believe it, hit the jump for its debut trailer!

Warner has finally released the first in-game screenshots for TT Games' upcoming LEGO Batman video game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, and PC). With these shots, we finally get a chance to check out how the Batman series' famous villains will translate to the LEGO video game universe. Check 'em out at the full article.

Invisible in the shadows, prowling the streets of Gotham City is the Dark Knight, Batman. Lego Batman, that is, prowling the streets of Lego Gotham City. The game's been as mysterious as the character but now it's finally confirmed for a multi platform release! It's been reported earlier that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group is acquiring TT Games, the studio behind the highly successful Lego games. Guess for how much though? A whopping GBP 100 million (US$ 206 million)!

Cutting up people with a sword on your Nintendo Wii may be fun, but doing the same thing with a lightsaber is tons better. Unfortunately, it may be a while before we may be able to do it, as Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga developer Jonathan Smith from TTGames says that making a 1:1 lightsaber game for the Nintendo Wii is not as easy at it sounds, it will take some time before someone comes up with a way to accurately translate a Wiimote's movements into the graceful and deadly art of lightsaber combat.

As promised, developer TT Games brought Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS) to GameCity 2007 in Nottingham. Producer Jonathan Smith showcased some of the features of the upcoming game, particularly the many ways to play using the Wii.

According to Smith, there's been confusion about having a light saber peripheral for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga's iteration on Nintendo's console. TT Games has no plans to release a light saber, but he jokingly duct-taped a Wii Remote to his son's light saber before saying, "Here is the Wii light saber, TM. Anyone can make one of these at home."

Smith believes it wouldn't be easy for gamers to go through Lego Star Wars with a Wii light saber because they're not Jedi, but there are still some moves they can pull off. One is grapple feature, which allows players to move from one grapple point to another by flicking the Wiimote upwards.

From what we've previously heard, this Lego flavored Star Wars title will include all six movies in the saga. What's interesting to note is that there'll be 120 playable characters and you'll be able mix things up a bit by placing them where they're not supposed to be. With online co-op for the 360 and PS3 versions, fun awaits if we can put Luke and Anakin fighting side by side.
