This is a program that will certainly come in handy for programmers (and for the more l337 Wiibrewers out there). SquidMan has released Update Downloader, which downloads Titles (IOSs and such) from Nintendo's update servers, then decrypts and saves them. Details after the link.Download: Update Downloader v1.0 |

It's a proof of concept currently, though WiiMU happens to shove Nintendo's official Wii System Menu aside when properly loaded onto your Nintendo Wii. Homebrew developer SquidMan has not only released the initial build of WiiMU but also updated it to version 1.2. Learn all that's possibile with this homebrew application and what's currently implemented at the full story.Download: WiiMU v1.2 Download: WiiMU v1.0 |

There are shoot 'em up games, and there are bullet hell games. Then came the danmaku genre, translated from Japanese as "bullet curtain." If you're up for a challenge, you might want to try this Wiibrew game-in-development, Touhou Fangame, a recreation of Project Shrine Maiden for the Wii. We know this one's some days late, but we couldn't forget to let danmaku shooter fans in on the news: there's a new homebrew game coming for their homebrew capable Wiis. Author SquidMan programmed an early version of a Touhou for Nintendo's next generation console which ties directly to the Wii remote, but as because Touhou Fangame Beta 1 is still in early beta, don't expect it to run smoothly on its maiden launch.
