Forget the March 31 date mentioned in the last MadWorld update. Sega and Platinum Games will be bringing the ultra-violent game
to North America three weeks earlier than that. |

And some say the Wii isn't hardcore. The entire game may be set in a black-and-white (and red) world, but MadWorld still manages to be colorful with all the blood and guts you can chuck at a masochistic prude. It reminds me a lot of how Wild9 works - find as many ways you can to kill, maim, and torture your enemies. Feels just like Christmas, ya? Greeting everyone a merry Christmas is MadWorld protagonist Jack - yeah, just Jack. This trailer's even got Mr. Movie Trailer doing voice-overs. |

Atsushi Inaba of Platinum Games have some words of wisdom to share with the Japanese developers. He'd want for them to be more creative and step more out of the box. Hey, the gaming world isn't just all about Japan, after all. |

Do you think the Nintendo Wii is a bit too soft-core for you? One development team begs to differ as they're creating a new title that would change that perception. In Platinum Games' Mad World, it won't be all rainbows and butterflies as they promise tasteful violence integrated with the Wii's innovative controls. Find out more in the full article up next. |

Back in January, we reported that Shinji Mikami, of Dino Crisis and Resident Evil fame, will start work on the first title of the team Platinum Games (formerly SEEDS). Now how far along are they? Rumor has it that they have signed with Sega to release three new games, one of which will involve Devil May Cry 4 creator Hideki Kamiya. More details after the jump. |
