Akatuski - Image 1While we're stuck to simply watching the fight between Pain and Jiraiya on the anime, seeing some cool exchanges from the two powerful shinobi makes you want to have a game that'll let you do all that. For now, the closest you can get is through Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, which has officially gone gold, as announced by Namco Bandai.

Namco Bandai - Image 1You can really feel the gaming expo heat building up when more and more publishers start handing out their lineups. We've seen quite a lot of games coming to TGS 2009 by now, and adding to that list is Namco Bandai, bringing games from franchises that the merged companies are well-known for.

Ace Combat - Image 1Siliconera went patent-spotting recently and guess what they found - two Namco Bandai patents sharing a similar theme: "Skies of Fury" and "Skies of Hostility." When Namco Bandai and skies are on the same subject line, one would probably remember their flight simulator, Ace Combat, which hasn't been making its presence felt in the gaming scene in a while. Another installment, maybe?

On Shelves This Week - Image 1With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. More can be found in the lengthy full list after the jump.

QuickJump QuickPeek 84 - Image 1It may not have the same hoopla as E3 had, but the GamesCom sure is making the developers and publishers just as busy all the same. With their promised new wares, any event definitely is an opportunity to show what they've got -- and to impress. And we all know it would do everyone a whole lot of good if we get more impressive games around, especially if we want some positive movement in the charts. Speaking of which, we've got both this week: promised new wares and charts. Check out the happenings in the 84th edition of QuickJump QuickPeek at the full article.

Speaking of looking to the future, the industry's been doing a lot of that themselves as well lately. It was a very inquisitive week alright, but sprinkled still, of course, with more of those gaming news and updates, "leaked" surprises and the back-and-forth bickering of the guys in suit. It's circles all around with the robust 8-0 edition of QuickPeek. Jump right in at the full article!

Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo - Image 1I've said it once, I'll say it again - Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is one Dragon Ball title you should definitely look into. Two Japanese TV spots popped up on Gametrailers, bringing more gameplay footages along for the ride. Judging by those footages, the game looks genuinely fun, genuinely Dragon Ball, and it certainly looks better than the average Wii title.
