Developer Tantric recently got around to release another update to the FCE Ultra NES homebrew emulator for the Wii, FCE Ultra GX. The new build (version 2.0.2) was able to fix several bugs and has also updated its core emulator to 0.92.13pre. Check out the complete list of changes since our last coverage after the jump.

Those of you who've seen the previous promotional artwork for Mega Man 9 might be surprised to find out Capcom has gotten more than a little bit serious about it. Despite being delivered as downloadable content for various consoles, the publishers have come up with a promo "box art" for the game using a retro-styled NES box and casing. Developer Tantric recently made a new update to the NES homebrew emulator for the Wii, FCE Ultra GX 2.0.1. NeoGeo Pocket emulation on the Wii and Gamecube is now a reality, thanks to homebrew developer Askot. The coder, known for introducing the first NES emulator on Nintendo's next generation console, has been a driving force behind most of the Wii ports game console emulators, and today isn't one to detract from legacy. Homebrew developer Knight0fDragon recently took the time to update the homebrew port of the old school Nintendo shooter, Duck Hunt. The latest build, version 1.81, brings the homebrew project closer to the original title with the addition of better sounds as well as a couple of bug fixes here and there. Knight0fDragon has released version 1.8 of the Duck Hunt homebrew game for the Nintendo Wii. Among other updates, this new build will reduce your ammo load to 3, and will introduce rounds. The rest of the changelog is available in the full article.
