Puss says... - Image 1Recent documents being passed around Congress and the PotUS office [insert West Wing red tape montage here] gave birth to a new anti-piracy bill which was signed into law as the "Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008" or, in short, PRO-IP. Back in the ESA offices, Michael Gallagher couldn't be any happier.

Here's three new trailers for The Simpsons Game in anticipation for its release on October 30. The trailers (for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii) feature Bartman battling it out with Lard Lad, a huge mascot wielding a donut. You might remember the donut titan in one of the series' Halloween specials.

The first trailer shows the fight scene against Lard Lad, where Bartman has to kick his butt... and pull out a few wires while he's at it. The second video shows a clip scene of the after-battle 2D animated sequence, and the third trailer shows a montage of clips from the game (including Lard Lad).

The Simpsons Game will be out for the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, PSP and DS by the end of the month. Check out the rest of the trailers after the jump.

Watch Goku and Broli try to make pita bread out of each other's faces and bodies in this gameplay montage video of Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

High-octane martial arts action, brutal over the top attacks, big golden tufts of hair - it's all here, and we're here to to get you up to speed on the brawler that's all about domination. In this video, we see Goku and Broli going at it like the two musclebound saiyans they are - hard, fast, and uncompromisingly violent.

The game has the same spirit as the cartoon: you have to make every attack look as painful as possible. Just watch how Broli throws Goku into the air and slams him down to the ground. Ouch. Anyway, enjoy the video!

Forever Blue - Image 1

Here's something we don't see everyday - a game about deep-sea diving, with emphasis on exploration of the world beneath the waves. Yes, we can't believe it either, but it's here, and coming from none other than Nintendo itself. Coming soon to the Nintendo Wii, it's Forever Blue, and its official website is now open for public viewing.

As you can see, the site itself is themed about the game's subject matter - which is, evidently, deep-sea diving. Clicking on the floating links take you to three gameplay videos, and a picture montage of the various environments you'll be able to explore. What's exciting? The fact that you're given this massive world to explore that only a privileged few can, and from the looks of things, everything's detailed accurately that it's almost like taking a dive yourself.

One thing yours truly found neat is the fact that you can interact with the sea creatures you'll be swimming beside - either by touching them or feeding them. And while we don't know if there's going to be other elements beside exploration to the game, this game could probably be used to teach newbie divers the basics, and help them get over the fear of diving.

Updates about Forever Blue as we get them.

Because we can't get enough racing games, THQ will be giving us Cars Mater-National as a sequel to Cars. Some of you guys probably grabbed Cars recently off the budget bin for the PS2, PSP, and Xbox 360, but it's never too soon to take a look at its successor.

Well, what can we say? This is Cars, so there are wacky vehicles with faces and personalities. The video below shows us snippets of the gameplay, showing off the various environments players will be competing in. There are also some sweet ramps and little tricks that clearly tag the title as an arcade racer.

The game is set to appear on the PS3, Wii, 360, PS2, DS, and GBA this autumn. For those interested in adding a new decent looking racer to your library, check out the gameplay montage embed.

Hudson Soft's Mario Party 8 is stopping at nothing to bring you guys even more mayhem on your Wii console. If the likes of WarioWare and Rabbids are already sort of slamming you into a rut (they have been released for quite some time now and we're thinking you've already played them to the bone), then here's another title to get the party started.

Invite all the guests; we've got quite a bunch of gameplay vids to throw at you today, all demonstrating the sheer mayhem of Mario Party 8. To start things off, here's a montage of just some of the the 50+ minigames that you can choose from. And who do we see? We've got Daisy, Boo, Dry Bones, and Mario nuking it out, while other characters are shuffling in and out through the montage. Look-see:

With that done, we've got another barrage of minigames behind the Full Article link below. The first video focuses more on the various shooting-type games, while the second one has the mine cart minigame (that'll be such a workout on your upper arms) towards the end.

For those intrigued with the new storyline of Super Paper Mario, hang in there. We got a vid from GameTrailers that reveals just that. While we do know certain plot elements already, like how Bowser and Peach are to be married (ew, cross-species), and how there's some now big baddie in the Mushroom Kingdom, in this trailer we are shown how all of those things fit together.

Now, through a montage of clips from in-game cutscenes (pressumably during the start of your adventure), the whole conflict revolving around the story is played out. Since we don't want to give any more details due to spoiling the story for some people who'd want to play the game in a clean slate, we'll just leave it up to you if you want to click Play below or not. Enjoy!

So Engadget has just gotten their Wii from the mail. Excuse me for a second while I scream into a pillow. [Jex H. momentarily leaves the table...] OKAY! Aaaand we're back.

Like I said, Engadget has just gotten their Wii from Nintendo and they made a video to share with us the whole experience. From cutting the tape on the box, taking out and laying out the box's contents (which includes Excite Truck and Zelda!!!), and how they basically assembled the console. The box also includes the Nintendo press kit with a letter from Reggie that starts with "Dear fellow gamer, I can't be sure but I think I'm about to make your day..." Funny.

I would love to tell you guys more about the vid but I just realized it's hard to type with tears blurring your vision so...(do I hear someone going "awwww..."???) Hahaha, so anyway, just watch the vid, it's all there with the Engadget guy talking you through the whole thing. The Part 2 of the whole "Unboxing the Wii" episode is available via the download link below, and it shows a more detailed montage of the Wii interface and setup, including the cables and whatnot, and making a Mii avatar.

Just a tip, you might wanna grab some Kleenex while you watch the vid.

Ó

GIThe latest issue of the US Game Informer officially unveils the first details of the PS3 and Wii (still unknown whether or not this will be a super multiplatformer again) street racer, Need for Speed: Carbon. Apparently the new game will have features from both the Underground and the Most Wanted series, meaning you'll be chasing the cops (Most Wanted series) and pimping your car (Underground series) in the same game. The magazine also reports the game will be out during Christmas this year.

Another new feature will be ability to conquer "territories" on each of the 3 maps, with each map having 7 territories. Owning those places will give you bonuses and the like.

Then there's Canyon Racing where you "race on narrow circuits alongside deadly pitfalls." In the unveiling report it also says there will be some kind of team racing for that mode, where they'll help you push the opponents off the road. It's not known if there's any other team thing in the game apart from that.

At E3 a few weeks back EA already showed a trailer of the game in a quick montage (nothing special), and since then rumors have been circulating a lot. Need for Speed: Carbon has also been referred to "Need for Speed 7", but this pretty much shows that's not true.
