Introducing, the NASCAR Kart Racing for the Wii. Yep, that's right, yet another licensed sports title comes to your Wii, thanks to Electronic Arts. It looks like it's gonna be very enjoyable for the kids, and those kids-at-heart who'd want to see NASCAR in a different, more colorful light.

Guess there was no need to worry after all. Hackers from SoftChip have introduced a new app that goes around some of the Wiibrew blocks Nintendo introduced in the latest Wii Menu update. This program enables some of the benefits of the new firmware without actually updating. Details after the link.

Nintendo's really cracking down hard on piracy, and on its warpath is trampling on Wiibrew grounds as well. The latest firmware update has gone live, with amendments to the Nintendo User Agreement, and stringent homebrew blocks.

What does the Nintendo have to offer in the area of user-generated content? Miis? That's it, I think. This situation may change soon, however. Nintendo of America CEO Reggie Fils-Aime has recently said that user-generated content is the future of interactive entertainment, and so Nintendo's gonna hop right onto that bandwagon.

We all know that there is an option on the Wii's Mii Channel to connect it to the DS. What we didn't know is that it's been lying asleep in the Wii's Mii Channel firmware right from the very start! See this cool discovery after the jump.

In just a little over a week from today, we will be experiencing the new voice chat function of Nintendo's Wii. Animal Crossing: City Folk is just around the corner. You know what that means... Wii Speak finally goes live! Via press release, Nintendo has announced that the Wii Speak Channel will be available come December 5 for Europe.

Wii owners who are heading to the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo will be glad to know that Hudson Entertainment is bringing some quality Wii gaming to PAX.

The titles Hudson has announced for the event are two WiiWare games and two retail Wii games: Alien Crush Returns, Bomberman Blast, Fishing Master World Tour, and Deca Sports. Learn about these titles after the jump!

Apparently, getting to play as Ozzy Osbourne in Guitar Hero: World Tour wasn't cool enough for Activision. As an exclusive (for obvious reasons) to the Wii console, there'll be an additional mode called Mii Freestyle in which you can actually play as your very own Mii avatar.

In the long run, whether or not the Wii is a fad really doesn't matter since it's still selling like hotcakes and still has the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 eating its dust.
