Michael Jackson - Image 1Paul Theroux of the Telegraph could not forget the conversation that he had with Michael Jackson. Now that MJ has gone to that big Neverland in the sky, the journalist takes us back to the old interview, which revealed that eccentric as he was, Michael Jackson too was a sucker for video games. Not just any video game too - MJ loved MK.

Street Fighter: the Legend of Chun-Li - Image 120th Century Fox failed to cash in on the love of gamers for Street Fighter IV. The Legend of Chun-Li movie struck an overwhelming disappointment with moviegoers this weekend. How bad? Let's just say that three of Uwe Boll's movies beat its opening gross. And that's without adjustments for inflation.

Ouch.

The last time we heard about Atari's upcoming beat-em-up for the Nintendo Wii, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, we got an eyeful of Akira Toriyama's unique drawing style via a handful of character illustrations on the official game website.

Now, we get a chance to pick apart the minds behind the next-gen sequel of the high-octane martial arts videogame series via this second Developer Diary video of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, as well as know just how much new content we're looking at.

So what's new with the series this time around? Plenty. Not only are they stuffing the title full of new characters - King Vegeta, Nail and Selipa to name but a few of the newcomers - but they're also improving on most of the key elements that made the first two games so engaging and fun to play.

For example, while each character will still have the same number of unique attacks, every attack from the previous games have been redesigned, re-worked and re-imagined - so they'll not only look different, but play different as well.

More news about Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 at the video embed below. Enjoy!

Virtual Console titles - Image 1 Virtual Console titles - Image 2

Heads up, Wii owners - more hack-and-slash retro goodness is heading your way through the Wii's Virtual Console, and it comes into tasty flavors: Shinobi III and Landstalker. Yep, strap on your treasure hunter armor and don your Ninja mask, you're about to go into a very action-packed trip down memory lane - as long as you don't immediately get your legs chopped off by rival treasure hunters, or rival ninjas, or rival treasure hunting ninjas. Whoever gets to you first.

In Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, you step into the shoes of Joe Musashi, Shinobi and current master of the long-forgotten Oboro Ninjutsu martial arts, as he makes his comeback to once and for all end a corrupt and evil crime syndicate that had sprung back from the shadows.

To combat this encroaching threat that plans to take over the world, you must utilize every weapon in Joe Musashi's arsenal of deadly ninja techniques wisely and efficiently. The time to flip out and kill everyone is now.

As for Landstalker, you play as sword-swinging, treasure-hunting Nigel, hot on the trail of the legendary treasure of King Nole. Fight, throw, jump and even talk your way to victory and untold riches as you romp through a rich, dungeon-filled world in an isometric view, all the while keeping track of your health, as well as avoiding traps and the efforts of rival treasure hunter Duke Mercator. Prepare to have a fever, with the only cure for it being more treasure!

Certainly two very great additions to any VC enthusiast's library. No news yet about how many Wii points each will set you back, though, but the Sega Genesis titles always cost around 800 Wii points or so. In any case, updates as we get them!

Watch Goku and Broli try to make pita bread out of each other's faces and bodies in this gameplay montage video of Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

High-octane martial arts action, brutal over the top attacks, big golden tufts of hair - it's all here, and we're here to to get you up to speed on the brawler that's all about domination. In this video, we see Goku and Broli going at it like the two musclebound saiyans they are - hard, fast, and uncompromisingly violent.

The game has the same spirit as the cartoon: you have to make every attack look as painful as possible. Just watch how Broli throws Goku into the air and slams him down to the ground. Ouch. Anyway, enjoy the video!
