With the first two map packs scoring over four million downloads, Treyarch is making sure that the third map pack for Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii) will live up to the standard set by its two predecessors. For that, they made this little trailer right here to get you to hit the download button once the DLC goes live.

The third map pack for Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii) has big shoes to fill seeing as its two predecessors made quite a killing. Since their release, map packs 1 and 2 have scored more than four million downloads on Xbox Live and PSN combined.

Treyarch is also getting in on 4th of July celebrations in the US with a double XP weekend event for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii versions of Call of Duty: World at War. Quantum of Solace has received an official release date from Activision. Expect the game to hit shelves on November 4. Better get yourself a pre-order as well; those who do will get access to a multiplayer map pack for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since the game runs on the same engine as Call of Duty 4, I'm betting that map pack's worth getting. More details after the link.
