All you need is love - Image 1 Ever since The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) made its psychedelic appearance on E3, it was announced that all proceeds earned from downloading the track "All You Need is Love" will go straight to Doctors Without Borders. Well there has certainly been a lot of love going around, with the track hitting the 100,000 mark on charitable downloads.

The Beatles: Rock Band - Image 1Time to take that walk in the historic Abbey Road as MTV Games, Harmonix and Apple Corps, Ltd. announced today the launch of Abbey Road (1969) as the first of the Beatles' album to be released as downloadable content. The DLC will be landing in The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii)Music Store on October 20 for the Xbox 360 and Wii, and October 22 for the PS3.

Queen - Image 1It may not be their very own Rock Band title, but Queen will still make its presence felt for Rock Band. MTV Games and Harmonix today announced the Queen track pack for the game, adding ten more tracks from the iconic music group.

Queen - Image 1The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3Xbox 360, and Wii) has been a resounding success, so which band will Harmonix and MTV Games be shining the spotlight on in the next Rock Band game? It's all fog and haze at this point, but according to guitarist Brian May we can now add Queen to the pool of candidates.

Rock Band Network - Image 1MTV and Harmonix are opening the doors for user-generated content on Rock Band via a newly announced utility called the Rock Band Network. This essentially gives artists and labels the chance to upload their own tracks and, if approved, get them released as downloadable tracks.
