Konami has been around for a very long time. Long before 3D and complex gameplay, the publisher busied itself as a prominent MSX developer. Before the Solid, Metal Gear made its home on the format, right alongside classics such as Contra and Parodius. For another round of retro, Konami's adding 13 MSX games into Virtual Console.

Homebrew coder Raz0red has released the second update for Wii7800, a port of ProSystem emulator for the Nintendo Wii. The new update has added lots of features and some more tweak.s.

Electronic Arts has released the list of songs that gamers will be able to sing and dance to in the upcoming Nintendo Wii title Boogie.

"This is a breakthrough game with a landmark soundtrack," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA. "We've brought together generations of the biggest hits in pop music history for a game that takes Wii innovation to a whole new level. Boogie is truly the ultimate family fun experience."

The game will feature new covers of 35 hit songs that span four decades of music and a variety of musical genres. The list is below. Boogie itself is slated for an August 9 release in north America and an August 31 release in Europe.

Virtual Console fanatics out there should know what time it is. Yep, it's time for three more new classic titles (isn't that a bit of a misnomer, though?) to drop in on the U.S. VC. Here are the titles that will be going live today:

• F-Zero X - This N64 racer lets players choose from 30 different hover-cars, including updated versions of vehicles found in the original F-Zero. Players can choose to try and win the Grand Prix Cup, get the fastest time in a Time Trial race or engage in some friendly destruction in a Death Race. F-Zero X supports up to four players and is available for 1,000 Wii points.
  

• Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting - Who doesn't know what Street Fighter is? Originally released for the SNES, features the eight original World Warriors along with playable boss characters. The game also features enhanced speed and better character balancing. Hyper Fighting is for one to two players and costs 800 Wii Points.
  

• China Warrior - This single-player sidescroller was originally released for the TurboGrafx-16 at around the same time that that console came out in Japan. Players take control of Wang the kung fu master, who must fight his way to the top of the Chinese kung fu world and defeat the Dark Emperor. This one goes for 600 Wii Points a pop.
