Remember Monty Oum's CGI fanvid from a few months ago where hot babes Tifa, Rikku, and Yuna of Final Fantasy and Kasumi, Ayane, and Hitomi of Dead or Alive were pitted against each other in a Brawl - err, brawl, rather? Well, today we've got the sequel to that! And it's packing quite a punch with three new characters that jump into the fray. Who, you ask? Ah, well, sorry... No spoilers! Read more for the video.

Thumb - Image 1 Team Ninja's leading man, the guy with a few smiles and a thousand words, behind the Tecmo-published Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series deserves his own QuickJump Quicklist, so here's something dedicated to Tomonobu Itagaki and all his greatness. We've collected some lines from Itagaki that are either very amusing, or so badass fanboys would rather follow him around and wipe his sunglasses clean for a living.

Find all that at the full article!

Banner - Image 1

For every ground-breaking title out there, there exists an unsung hero. They – like soldiers and bad sitcoms of old – are the miserable underdogs who never receive the due credit they deserve for their work. We're not talking about the developers -  we're talking about specialists - the (fictional) guys who work behind the scenes to ensure that the elements in whatever genre you play will always remain in tip-top condition, whether its your resident androgynous antagonist 's script, or your unfriendly neighborhood mook's marksmanship scores.

These guys will be the topic of today's quick list - along with an explanation with that special thing they do just to make the game better for one special individual - you. On to the list!

Shall I give you 'dis pear? - Image 11. Sephiroth's acting coach
Let's be honest - Sephiroth isn't that original. More than one anime, manga, and J-RPG can boast its own brew of silver-haired, bad-ass sword-wielding bishie hotness, with Sephie being just a part of this popular trend. What sets him apart, however, is execution (acting, not Aeris…).

Sephiroth's dark foreboding lines and steely glare will haunt many a gamer's dreams, and for this, we can thank the man's ever-capable acting coach. We're talking the drama-guru who made Sephiroth walk the walk, talk the talk - the dude who probably taught him captivatingly cheesy one-liners like "Shall I give you despair?"

I'm afraid you haven't, Mr. Sephiroth's Acting Coach. You did give plenty of fanboys/girls something to think about for their next few - err - dreams, though...

Special accreditation goes to Cloud's hairdresser.

Zelda, great gaming girl - Image 1 TwitchGuru's got an interesting list up, chronicling fifty women in the gaming industry who've done something great in their time. Of course, all of them aren't real women, but they're still pretty cool.

The list includes all the favorites from games old and new, including Alyx Vance from Half-Life 2, Zelda, from her legendary namesake series, Aeris from FFVII, and even good old Kasumi, whose fame landed her a role as a bikini-clad volleyball player in DOAX 2.

Of course, these are mostly stacked towards some of the more recent games (No Ms. Pac-Man) and the prettier specimens of the female persuasion (No zombies), but it's still a good pick. Just be careful of that Alice girl... she's a whole load of scary in a little package.

Super Swing Golf Pangya - Image 3

Tecmo has opened up the Japanese website for its upcoming game, Super Swing Golf Pangya. It's Tecmo's first game for the Wii and will be based off of a very popular online golf game for the PC. The game will allow you to use the WiiMote as a golf club. You'll play as a bunch of original characters as well as some guest characters from other Tecmo games, like Kasumi of Dead or Alive fame.

The artwork below shows off two of the characters as well as three different locations you'll be able to golf in!

Swing Golf Pangya

These scans from the newest issue of the Japanese Famitsu show off Swing Golf Pangya, a game that will not only make obvious use of the Wii's controller features, but also include illustrious characters such as Kasumi from Dead Or Alive. The two pages apparently show interested readers a step-by-step course on how to swing the Wiimote correctly to successfully land a shot in the game. Swing Golf Pangya is bound to reach shelves in North America and Europe in Q1 2007, until then, we'll make sure to provide you with fresh information on this title.

Thanks to neo2046 over at GAF for the scans!

Weeks ago, we reported that Tecmo's first Wii title would be Super Swing Golf Pangya. The Wii version of the wildly popular PC title will feature a one player mode not found in the PC version. Of course, it's quite obvious that the WiiMote will be used as a golf club. But the twist that has gotten Pangya fans excited is that the game will feature characters from other Tecmo franchises. You've known this for quite some time - we've mentioned it in an earlier article - but here's the trailer itself for you to ogle.

If you pay close attention, you'd get a glimpse of Dead or Alive's Kasumi getting ready to swing her golf club. You may not recognize some of the characters because of the cutesy graphical representation, but hey - guessing is part of the fun. Watch and enjoy!
